The Dumfries & Galloway Woodlands initiative is on a journey – learning more about the trees and habitats of our region, how these can support sustainable communities and how we can respond to the climate & nature emergencies.
Whether you are based in Dumfries & Galloway or not, if you are interested in our work, we’d love you to join us! Our constitution states that ‘Membership is open to any individual aged 16 or over who resides in Dumfries & Galloway region or has an interest in the woodlands of the region.‘
Membership means you receive an invite to the Annual General Meeting, won’t miss any updates on progress and join a band of people interested in how we can make Dumfries & Galloway a place to respond to the biodiversity and climate crises. The SCIO is overseen by a board of trustees, drawn from within the membership.
