We are this week delighted to welcome Sam Lomax onto the team as our new administrator!
Sam will be leading on the processes and administration of our work, including the Dumfries & Galloway Tree Planting Grant Scheme and others.
Sam’s role is funded thanks to our grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, helping us gear up for a whole range of activity across the region, all aiming to provide a tangible response to the biodiversity and climate emergencies.
Sam will be with us two days a week, initially on a Monday + Thursday basis.
Sam said:
“As someone who loves to walk out in the woods, I’m so happy to join the team at D&G Woodlands. The creation and support of woodlands and related habitats are vital for so many reasons, and I hope I can contribute to that in my role.”
